NYC only // Senior Network Security Engineer

*Just a heads up: there is obviously a lot of overlap between Network Engineering and Network Security, but we will basically only be calling people who have the security element of their work extremely well highlighted on their resume, since that's the focus of this role. Thanks for applying!*

A global investment company in NYC is looking for a Senior Network Security engineer to join their security team. We're looking for someone who comes from a network and infrastructure security background, who will be comfortable working on a security team with a depth of junior and senior engineers. The team conducts a variety of risk assessments to identify and resolve complex problems within the environment. 

This role is hybrid, 3-4 days a week in the Manhattan office. 

Requirements:

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, with strong comfort handling security related to the operation of LAN/WAN IP-based networks (TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with any of the major SIEM tools; QRadar, Splunk, Logrhythm, etc.
• Scripting experience is a huge plus, we'd obviously love to automate any parts of the environment that we can
