Our client is one of the most successful global financial companies out there, with a proven track record of innovation and leadership in the industry. They offer a wide range of financial products and services to clients all over the world. They're on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer II to join their growing mobile development team. Ideally, you'll be based in New York and have 6 to 8 years of professional experience creating mobile applications for iOS devices. The perfect candidate will have a strong understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, and best practices, as well as experience with Swift, Objective-C, and other relevant technologies. You'll be focusing on the flagship consumer-facing product, working on all new feature development.
Here are your key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain top-notch iOS applications for the company's products and services
- Work together with cross-functional teams to define and implement features and functionality for iOS applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs in iOS applications
- Work closely with product managers and designers to ensure user requirements are met, and the user experience is optimized
- Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development and share knowledge with the team
Here are the requirements:
- Ideally, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience creating iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C
- Strong understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with web services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Based in New York
