SOX Compliance Manager // strong growth opportunity // NYC

We are seeking an experienced SOX Compliance Manager to lead our SOX strategy for our fast-growing health tech company. As our SOX Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, with a focus on managing and improving our SOX program. Our organization has a fleet of mobile healthcare workers that travel onsite to do throughout NYC.

This position is majority in office at our location near Bryant Park in NYC. We usually do remote Fridays, and we're of course open to occasional further remote flexibility. We've got a really friendly, relaxed internal culture and we're really looking for someone who can fit in. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage our SOX compliance program, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, assess controls, and develop mitigation strategies
• Manage and oversee SOX testing, remediation, and reporting processes, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting
• Develop and provide SOX training to employees and stakeholders, and ensure ongoing compliance

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in SOX compliance, with a strong focus on managing and improving SOX programs
• Experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus
• Strong knowledge of SOX regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
