A company in Illinois focusing in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space is looking to add a Senior Test Automation Engineer to the team! This is going to be a hybrid role in the northern suburbs of Chicago. This is going to be a very hands-on testing role with some Product Management skills tied to it as well. This candidate must have strong automation testing skills, with languages such as Python, C#, or C++ with a willingness to learn some tools the company uses, such as Trisentis. This candidate must have strong backend API and Database Testing knowledge, as well as experience with Load Testing. Communication skills are massively required for this role as well, as this candidate will have to put together presentations, sell the automation product, and also test the product. Required Skills & Experience
  • Senior – level experience with automation testing, with languages such as Python, C#, or C++.
  • Heavy understanding of API and Database testing.
  • Heavy understanding of Load Testing.
  • Able to wear multiple different hats for different projects.
  • Leadership skills, whether as a Manager or as a Lead over other teammates for various projects.
  • Experience with Product Management responsibilities.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Cloud exposure is a plus.
  • Any certification is a plus.
  • Good communication skills, able to work successfully with other teams.
  • Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
