Azure Cloud Engineer

A company in the utilities sector located in Omaha, Nebraska is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to add to their growing team. This engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and managing the company’s public cloud systems, environments, and infrastructure. This Cloud Engineer will also be accountable for incident response, ensuring availability, optimizing throughput, and monitoring utilization Azure. Additionally, the candidate will establish and enforce standards and governance policies through cloud provider and third-party security tools, design, implement and maintain role-based access controls, gather requirements, assist with implementations and migrations, and ensure the cloud environment is compliant with security and GRC requirements. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant infrastructure focused experience
• Strong experience administering, building, and supporting Azure cloud environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps
• Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines
• Strong experience with Active Directory
• Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with at least one infrastructure automation tool such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep templates
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Salt, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
