- Threat Modeling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential security threats and risks in applications, and work on implementing appropriate countermeasures.
- Incident Response and Remediation: In case of security incidents or breaches, you will be involved in the incident response process, investigating the root cause, and assisting in remediation efforts.
- Security Awareness and Training: Conduct security awareness training for developers and other stakeholders to raise awareness of application security best practices.
- Tools and Automation: Utilize security tools and automation to streamline security testing processes and enhance the efficiency of security assessments.
- Security Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry security standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other security teams, such as network security and information security, to ensure a holistic approach to security across the organization.
- Security Research and Innovation: Continuously improve your knowledge of application security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors to proactively identify and address emerging threats.
