Figma Technician

Our client, a theme park and entertainment resort complex, is actively looking for a Figma Technician to join their UXUI Design team in Orlando! This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week so candidates must be local.

***This is a 5 month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert in the future***

This Figma Technician will be focused on converting libraries from Sketch to Figma in addition to some sub-projects. The team is looking for someone with strong experience in Figma with design systems libraries and multiplatform design systems experience. This person should also have demonstrated examples with design and development teams using Figma to create efficiencies! Responsibilities

• Convert Sketch component libraries to Figma libraries using best practices (conversion includes tokens, color palettes, themes, component symbols, variants, and states)
• Implement Figma libraries to enable exporting of scaffolded code and bridging the conventions between design files and development code across platforms
• Assist rollout of training plan, documentation, and onboarding of stakeholder groups
• Streamline and consolidate Global Design System documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• High School degree in required
• 2+ yeas of experience using Figma within an existing design system; 3+ years of experience working with Figma as a primary design tool
• Expert level knowledge with Figma (components, styles, libraries)
• Demonstrable experience with: tokens in design systems, Figma library version control, multi-platform design systems, creating and optimizing Figma workflows
• Experience migrating Sketch assets to Figma would be a huge plus!
• Strong communication skills
