Who You Are: 
The IT Technician will maintain the company's IT systems, provide end-user support, and manage software and related infrastructure. This encompasses a wide range of physical devices, including servers, routers, firewalls, switches, PCs, and printers. You will also be responsible for on-site troubleshooting and support for end-users, collaborating closely with individuals at all levels of the organization to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and software. 


Responsibilities: 
  • Stabilize, standardize, and maintain the hardware and software infrastructure .
  • Maintain the hardware and software infrastructure for end-users.
  • Improve and utilize remote PC management processes and toolsets.
  • Deploy and service essential software packages.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office and Office 365, both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Collaborate with other roles in the Computer Services department to mitigate company risk through the implementation of firewalls, account settings, system backups, redundant equipment, and other measures.
  • Apply project management methodology to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and action item lists to effectively manage projects, ensuring timely completion within budget while meeting business needs.
  • Act as a catalyst for change within the company.
  • Deliver training sessions on new systems.
  • Educate users on the features and functionalities of devices that can enhance productivity.
  • Empower the workforce by providing reliable tools.
  • Assist in the management of vendors and consultants when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities Could Include: 

  • Perform or assist with necessary operations to ensure workflow continuity, meet schedules, and uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work area by adhering to safety procedures and equipment operating rules, while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
  • Actively participate in various meetings and work groups to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, address concerns, obtain approvals, resolve issues, and stay informed about new developments, requirements, and policies.
