ROS2 Engineer (UAV/Drone experience required)

This position requires 25-30% travel to Los Angeles, CA. Candidates MUST be California residents and/or willing to travel frequently. It is a 1-year contract position with a client that services the Military. US Citizenship is required to apply. Ideal candidates are comfortable with the idea of their code being used for defense.

This client has been around and in the industry for over 50 years. Their innovative solutions are why the US military chose to partner with them. They work with an array of projects around robotics, software, sensors and more. For this specific project you will be coding defense drones for the US Military. 

Contract Duration: 1 year + Required Skills & Experience

• Must be a United States Citizen
• Local to Los Angeles, California and/or comfortable with 25-30% travel to Los Angeles, CA (only hotel expenses will be covered)
• 2+ years of experience
• ROS / ROS2
• React
• Experince with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in production

Desired Skills & Experience

• Integration with Plank's Automated landing code
• Exposure to autonomy/Machine learning/AI
