A dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of technology solutions is continuing to expand their cloud infrastructure and services, and therefore are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize the AWS cloud operations, driving efficiency, security, and scalability.
As an AWS Cloud Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the AWS cloud environment, ensuring its smooth operation, and providing strategic direction for cloud infrastructure growth and enhancement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions, optimize costs, and maintain a secure and reliable cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS best practices, cloud security, and infrastructure management will be essential in driving the cloud services to excellence.
This role is hybrid in Philadelphia. You must be local to commute once a week to the Center City office.

[Responsibilities]:
- Develop and implement AWS cloud strategies in line with business objectives.
- Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud services and resources.
- Optimize and monitor AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for cloud security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS services and technology advancements, recommending improvements where applicable.
- Create and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, processes, and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Manager or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
