This healthcare data analytics company based in Philadelphia, PA is on a mission to improve the quality of life for millions of people living their lives with rare diseases. Through state of the art technology and machine learning, the company is helping to create solutions that will help accelerate treatment discovery and improve options for the patients and care givers of those who live with underserved diseases by analyzing conversations and reflections on social media that represent and help bring understanding to these diseases directly from the patient and caregiver perspective. They are now looking for an NLP Data Scientist to add to their existing team.

This is an opportunity for someone who is extremely passionate about using data to improve the world that we live in. On a day to day, you will be enhancing data science procedures, creating and deploying predictive models, conduct high level research using NLP, and offering new and innovative ideas to improve the platform through Data Science and Machine Learning. This is a full-time opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA , and will require somebody who is an expert in NLP, is able to communicate at a high level, and can work both independently and collaboratively to deliver state of the art solutions that will change the lives of communities that need it most!

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong, production level experience working with Natural Language Processing (NLTK, Bert, Sentiment Analysis, etc.)
  • Python coding/scripting preferred (strong SQL or R will be considered, as well)
  • Python notebooks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and story telling skills
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Spark
  • AWS (EMR, SageMaker, etc)
  • Linguistics background
