This agricultural science company is innovating an entirely new project, creating a mobile application that will be used directly by the end user (farmers, growers, etc.). The purpose of the application is to deliver new, original insights on how to protect their crops from a variance of pressures caused by pests.
The team is broken up into 4, cross-functional pods consisting of software engineers, devops engineers, product, UX, etc. You would be the technical lead helping with onshore troubleshooting relating to devops and the frontend, creating new feature architecture, approving POCs, and supporting engineers on solutioning. This is a hands on, full stack position. The ideal candidate will have several years of production experience working with languages such as Python & Django on the backend, React on the frontend, and bonus points if you're comfortable and/or interested in working with React Native! You should also feel comfortable working within a devops driven cloud environment.
This position is local to the Philadelphia area and will require candidates who are willing and able to come onsite 3 days/week.
