Linux Manager

An engineering stimulation company is growing and looking to hire a Linux Manager to manage their Linux Infrastructure teams. They are looking for someone who has a hands on background with Linux technologies who is able to lead projects and strategy for this team. They need someone with a deep understand of how RedHat servers work and who has done automation projects with Linux servers.
In this role you will have 2 direct reports and 15 indirect reports globally. You will be overseeing meetings to address project progress, strategic planning, and technology roadmaps. You will also be working closely with Cloud and DevOps teams on upcoming initiatives. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ Years’ Linux RedHat Expertise
• Strong Management or Leadership Experience
• RedHat Satellite Expertise
• Automation experience with Ansible, Ansible towers
• Experience Spinning up Virtual Machines, VMware
• Working knowledge of OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine)
• Linux Security Patching Experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cloud Exposure, AWS
• Linux or RedHat Certifications
