Network Security Engineer / Greater Philly Area

This well-known healthcare organization is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their successful security team. This role will be an even split between Cisco firewall duties and defensive security duties. This is a full-time role that is mostly remote; you will need to come into a Philadelphia office around once a week to start, then it will decrease as time goes on. 

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of combined network and security experience. Cisco experience is required. Any defensive security experience (vulnerability management, endpoint protection, incident response, etc.) is strongly preferred. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of combined experience in networking and security
• Skill in Cisco and firewall configuration
• Checkpoint, network monitoring experience
• Experience with defensive security (incident response, vulnerability management (SIEM), endpoint protection, or more)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

“Nice to Have” Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Any relevant network or security certifications
