Security Automation Engineer / Greater Philly Area

This international holdings company is looking for a Security Engineer who specializes in something really hot right now: automation. They want someone with a strong security background, but who can automate things like incident response and more. This role would be a great fit for someone looking to join an advanced team of security- and tech-minded folks, and it’s a great environment to advance your existing skills while learning new ones. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in blue team security – incident response, vulnerability management, DLP, and more. Automation experience is expected, either through security projects or through a background in coding/development. Python, Powershell, Bash, and/or Javascript abilities are highly desired. While this is a mostly remote role, local candidates are desired so only those located within the Philly/New Jersey area will be considered. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional work experience in cyber security
  • General blue team, incident response, vulnerability management, DLP, etc.
• Automation and/or coding experience
  • Python, Powershell, Bash, Javascript
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant security certifications
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud environment
• Ability to code in more than one language
• Any penetration testing experience
