Security Engineer / Greater Philadelphia Area

If you are looking to use your cyber security skills to make a long-term impact on an organization, this is the role for you. This manufacturing company is hiring an Information Security Engineer to spearhead their vulnerability management and EDR programs. This person will also have general defensive security/blue team responsibilities. This is a fully remote position, although Philadelphia residence is preferred. This is a great opportunity to specialize in two vital areas of security while also broadening one’s skills in security overall.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of professional cyber security experience, preferably within information security. Any relevant security certifications are a plus but are not required. The company is also looking for someone who will stick around for a while in order to make your impact on the company. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security
• Specific experience with EDR and vulnerability management
• General defensive security skills

  • Incident response
  • Risk assessments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Any relevant security certifications
• Cloud security experience
