Security Engineer / Microsoft Environment

This insurance and annuities company is looking for a Security Engineer to help mature their cyber security program. They are a huge Microsoft environment, so it would be a great opportunity to get your hands on all of those tools, including Azure. They are currently going through a large migration to Azure. If you are looking for an opportunity to build out an existing cyber security program and have a lot of autonomy over security projects, look no further!

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of professional experience in cyber security, including cloud security experience. Experience with Microsoft tools is highly desired, and any experience leading a team would be a huge plus. This is a full-time, fully remote role that would allow you to work anywhere in the United States. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 6 years of professional cyber security experience
• Hands-on cloud security experience (Azure preferred, AWS ok)
• Strong skills using and implementing Microsoft tools (Defender, Sentinel, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Any relevant security certifications, especially CISSP
• Microsoft security certifications
