A medium sized Financial Firm is looking to bring on an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the team. You must be local to the Philly area as this is a hybrid remote role (2 days on per week).

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure, leveraging industry best practices and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with software development teams to build cloud-native applications, providing guidance on architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Develop and automate deployment processes, leveraging DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, implement appropriate access controls, and conduct regular security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in cloud-related initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience working as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud computing and associated services (compute, storage, networking, databases, etc.).
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
- Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with big data technologies and analytics frameworks.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
