Senior Linux Engineer

A growing financial company is looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to manage, engineer, and maintain their RedHat hardware. They are looking for someone with a core Linux server and hardware knowledge who can do administration and day to day project work with the servers. They need someone who is at a Senior level and can hit the ground running, knowing the ins and outs of Linux Hardware. The ideal candidate will also have scripting knowledge with python or bash.

You will be joining a 5 person team and working alongside other Senior Engineers and Architects so there is a great career growth opportunity. This is a remote role, ideally someone on the East Coast. If you have Linux expertise and want to continue to grow your career, this is a great opportunity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ Years’ Linux Hardware and Server Experience
• Hands on Engineering with RedHat, CentOS Server 
• Working Knowledge of Virtual and Cloud Linux Servers
• Scripting Experience, Bash, Python
• Knowledge of an XFS or EXT4 filesystem

Desired Skills & Experience

• RedHat Certifications
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IPTables Rules
• Networking Knowledge
