Web Programmer

A leading Website design and internet marketing firm is looking for a full-time Web Programmer on-site in Lancaster, PA. This role will have the responsibility of implementing functionality for customers using object-oriented programming (OOP) in PHP and MySQL integration, in an MVC architecture. The main function of this role will be programming in various languages while communicating with customers and team members daily.

This opportunity will allow you to utilize web design skills in a tech oriented environment. They are looking for a candidate that is comfortable in a well-rounded team player experience, with confidence in their web and programming skills.


Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of implementing PHP.
• MySQL experience and relational database knowledge.
• MVC architecture experience.
• Rest API integration experience.
• The ability to understand code and source code management tools, (GIT, Subversion).
• Personable and comfortable in new environments.
• The confidence to meet with clients directly.
• Self-starter and independent mindset.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Magento
• Ruby on Rails
• .NET
• WordPress, Joomla, OpenCart, Drupal, Cake, PHP
• CMS framework adaptability
• Linux navigation
• Front end knowledge including Javascript, CSS and HTML
• Web company or IT school experience/ degree.
• IT Support- 4 Years experience
