Cloud Platform Engineer

A client in the hospitality industry is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to add to their growing team. This individual will be focused on designing, building, implementing, monitoring, and managing the cloud infrastructure for one of the specific application teams. Additionally, they will work to automate as much of their processes as possible. Ideally this candidate will have strong experience working with infrastructure as code technologies as well as at least one config management tool.
Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience
• Proficiency with at least one infrastructure as code tool (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• 2+ years of experience working within AWS with various services
• Experience with Ansible or Chef for configuration management
• Experience working with developers
• Python scripting experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
