Job Description
Leading multinational financial services corporation is hiring! This is a Fortune 100 company, committed to provide differentiated financial products and services to their customers, so they can achieve their goals and make their dreams come true. They are looking forward to adding a Senior Android Developer, for an ongoing contract, hybrid (2 days a week either in NYC, or in Phoenix, Arizona) role. There’s no end date for this contract and most of our contractors end up getting converted within 6 to 9 months.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you’ll be working on mobile applications that are used by millions of customers all around the world. Furthermore, you’ll be collaborating with a team of designers, product owners, QA, and engineers in new feature development and improvement for their flagship Android application. As a Senior Android Engineer, you’ll be working on mobile applications that are used by millions of customers all around the world. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building Android applications.
- Experience building tools like Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI.
- Experience finding and fixing bugs.
- Performance analysis and optimization experience.
- Legacy code experience.
- Experience with Kotlin, Rest APIs, Compose, RxJava, etc.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a big plus.
- Competitive pay (60-80/hour) + bonus (if eligible).
