Senior Manager, Security Operations

An MSSP local to Phoenix is looking for a Senior Manager, Security Operations to add to their growing team. This individual will directly oversee the work of 5 Tier II Security Operations Analysts and will act as the highest escalation point for any unresolved incidents. Your role will be key to guide the team to ensure delivery on event review, incident triage, service requests, and change management in a 24/7 environment. They will also be responsible for recruiting, growing, and retaining new analysts for the team.

This role will have a hybrid work schedule, with onsite work required 3 days a week. They may offer relocation assistance for this position. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Security Operations experience, with at least 1 year managing a team of analysts
• Expertise performing event triaging and incident response for enterprise environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Security architecture knowledge
• Desire to mentor and grow junior to senior analysts
• Team leadership experience
• Deep understanding of technologies such as SIEM, EDR tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and email filtering tools
• Experience performing security forensics of network logs
• Experience working with a ticketing system for tracking of incidents

Desired Skills & Experience

• Any security certifications a big plus
