Security Analyst / Full-time / Opportunity for SecOps Variety

This local energy provider is looking for a Security Analyst to bolster their team. They have an excellent training program that would allow this person to get their hands on all kinds of SecOps projects, including tool implementation, cloud security, security awareness, and more; it’s not just doing incident response all day like other junior positions. Ideal candidates will have at least a year or two of professional cyber security experience. A recent college grad with a great GPA and relevant internship would also be acceptable. Any security awareness program experience would be a huge plus, but the biggest thing they are looking for is a culture fit. This is a full-time role that’s hybrid in Pittsburgh PA, so only local candidates will be considered. Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in cyber security or related field
• At least one year of professional cyber security experience
  • SIEM tools
  • Vulnerability management
  • SOC analyst
  • Security awareness training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cloud security experience
• Any relevant security certifications
