Job Description
This non-profit financial institution is a member-owned, purpose-driven credit union located in Portsmouth, NH. This credit union has been named one of "America's Best Credit Unions" by Forbes, ranking first place in New Hampshire. They strive to provide exceptional value, convenience, and the highest possible level of service each day while celebrating and supporting their community.
They are overhauling their whole banking system. They are looking for a Product Designer to be responsible for designing and continuously improving member journeys across the credit union's products and service delivery channels. You would be spearheading the UX Design for their banking solutions in this new system.
This is a full-time hybrid role in Portsmouth, NH.
Base Comp: $110k-$120k range

Work involves extensive communication including, but not limited to, verbal, written, and electronic, interaction, and collaboration with people daily.
Responsibilities:
Define member personas and audiences to identify motivations, behaviors, and expectations; and use design thinking tools (journey maps, service blueprints, empathy maps, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years of similar or related experience
- Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of 4 years directly related experience.
- Strong knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Adobe, Sketch, InVision, Figma and other similar tools
- In-depth knowledge of service design methods, including journey maps, service blueprints, job-to-be-done, stakeholder maps, and more
- General knowledge of consumer banking products, across deposits, cards and lending
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Proficient in Jira and other Atlassian tools
- Possess and exhibit excellent analytical, prioritization and time management skills.
