Vulnerability security analyst

Job Description One of the largest generic drug manufacturers is currently looking to front load their cyber security program in North America. With an HQ in India, this company has a focus on manufacturing and distributing generic prescription drugs to make them more affordable. This role will be a one year contract to hire out of Princeton, NJ. They operate on a hybrid schedule with 2 days at home.
This role will work in tandem with the infrastructure team and be responsible for leading cyber security efforts. They recently hired a network engineer but now need someone who can help them understand what vulnerabilities are at hand and mitigate any incoming risks. You’ll need to be familiar with firewalls and ports while understanding what risks can be posed for both. The role will be focused on general blue team duties like incident response, vulnerability management and EDR.
Contract Duration: 6 – 12 month contract to hire Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in both network/infrastructure
• Understanding of firewalls
• Vulnerability scanning
• Knowledge of security measures and policies

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience as a network engineer
• Relevant security certifications
