Senior Data Scientist/Data Engineer

This San Francisco-based startup that is building a no-code platform for software developers is looking for their first data hire! This person will be a data science and data engineering generalist, with an emphasis on data science/machine learning. 

This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates on central/eastern timezones.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or data engineer (MUST have experience with both DS/ML and DE)
• Expertise building models and productionalizing them
• Expertise with Python, APIs, cloud tooling (GCP preferred), Kafka/Kinesis for real-time data streaming
• Expertise building out ETL pipelines, managing data warehouses, building data lakes, working with tools like dbt and Fivetran, etc.
• Must be excited about a high-growth startup culture

The ideal candidate is an expert in data science/machine learning, with a background in data engineering, who is excited to do BOTH in their next role.
