A local electric automotive company is looking for a Data Center Engineer to come in and join the team. An integral part of the Silicon Valley and in one of the hottest industries that is here to stay, this company has made quite the name for itself and its vehicles/products.

They are seeking an individual with existing experiences having worked in a data center prior with the ability to go in on-site and assist with daily tasks there, including: cabling, rack and stack, networking, break/fix, and managing ML/GPU clusters.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build new or maintain existing resources within the data center (cabling, rack and stack, break/fix)
  • Working with other engineers and team members on design approach when tackling larger projects
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of the network at all times, making changes to it based on user feedback
  • Setting up monitoring systems and evaluate the reports/metrics to ensure availability
  • General network troubleshooting
  • Updating equipment as needed
Qualifications/Skills for Consideration:
  • 3+ years experience as a Data Center Engineer at a large-scale enterprise/company is preferred
  • Experience with industry standard equipment (Juniper, Palo Alto Networking, Fortinet)
  • Networking Fundamentals: IP networking, L2/L3 protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, etc.
  • Experience creating automation scripts for deployments and collecting metrics/monitoring

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future. This role is full-time, direct-hire, and open only to those who are residing within the United States and can reliably commute to Fremont, CA.
