Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented AWS DevOps Engineer with a focus on security to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, and a deep understanding of security principles.
Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support our applications and services.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications in the cloud environment.
2. DevOps Best Practices:
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
3. Security Implementation:
- Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard cloud environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Set up monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and address issues.
- Respond to incidents promptly and troubleshoot system and network issues.
5. Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to infrastructure, security, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are a plus.
