One of the largest home builders in the US is looking for a Field Technician to add to their growing team. This position will report to divisional office in Scottsdale, daily, before going our to various field locations across the valley. What they are looking for is someone who can visit their actual community build sites to help set up those sites. Some of the normal workload for that portion will be installing cable modems, printers, new workstations, StarLink (satellite internet) and Cradle Points (cellular version of StarLink, cellular modem for internet connection) and troubleshooting LAN. 
This role will require a high level of customer service as delivering excellent experiences to their non-technical staff is of utmost importance. Between more hands-on field work, there is an element of this that will provide support to the service desk for issues like desktop support, troubleshooting software, internet connectivity, Active Directory and Office 365.
Contract Duration: 12 months Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Support position
  • Experience working in the field, or in person, setting up new workstations, internet, etc.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
  • Experience administering Active Directory and O365
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable vehicle that can get you to sites throughout the valley
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience setting up StarLink satellite internet a big plus
