A manufacturing company located in Secaucus, New Jersey, is hiring an Information Security Manager to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's information assets and implementing security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
The Information Security Manager will develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans, and manage security incident response activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security management, knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, and experience in managing security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and managing security incidents.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
