Our client, a global broadcast media and entertainment company, is actively looking for an Incident Manager to join their team in Stamford, CT! This role is fully remote however candidates on the East Coast are preferred.

***This is a 6 month initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert. The shift for this role is also from Wednesday-Saturday from 10AM-8PM EST.***

This Incident Manager will be responsible for monitoring the availability and performance of the end-to-end systems responsible for the delivery of the company’s Direct-to-Consumer platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management and has exposure to ITIL v4 Service Management Framework! Responsibilities
  • Acknowledge system alerts and respond to all communication inputs regarding unplanned service interruptions from customers and internal IT
  • Ensure all incidents are recorded in ServiceNow and categorized properly
  • Assess impact & urgency and compose detailed, accurate impact statements
  • Quickly identify needed support teams and engage them for triage and resolution activities
  • Coordinate audio conference bridges for major incidents to bring together all teams and vendors required to resolve the incident
  • Ensure that incident ticket communication/documentation is accurate, timely, clear, and concise
  • Create shift status Executive Summaries highlighting major incidents
  • Assist in post incident review activity to create a more efficient incident management process for future incidents
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
  • 1+ year of experience working as an Incident Coordinator or Incident Manager, ideally in a digital media business
  • Strong experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred, or exposure to ITIL v4 Service Management Framework
  • Technically proficient and able to diagnose and debug complex technical issues quickly
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written communication
