Web Application Penetration Tester // Hybrid in Tampa // Cybersecurity

A Business Law Firm in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Web Application Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. This is a hybrid position, with the option to work both in-office and remotely. We're got a friendly team that gets along really well, and we're happy to have you apply!

As a Web Application Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for conducting manual and automated penetration testing of web applications to identify and exploit vulnerabilities. You will be working closely with our cybersecurity team to identify areas of risk and provide recommendations for remediation. This is a hands-on technical role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated penetration testing of web applications to identify vulnerabilities using tools like Burp Suite and Netsparker
• Collaborate with our cybersecurity team to identify areas of risk and provide recommendations for remediation
• Work with development teams to provide guidance on remediation of identified vulnerabilities
• Participate in red team exercises to identify areas of risk in our overall security posture

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in web application penetration testing
• Strong experience with web application security tools and techniques such as Burp Suite, OWASP Top 10, and SQL Injection
• Experience with manual testing techniques and methods
• Experience with red team exercises and vulnerability assessments
