QA Tester / Temple, GA / Contract

A local IOT company in Atlanta is looking to grow a QA team to help assist with testing of their mobile and web applications that allow for the remote unlocking of storage facility doors. They are looking for an experienced tester, with sole testing experience to join them for a year long contract-to-hire role. This will be a hybrid position, 3 days a week in office in Temple, GA.

Originally, this role will be fully manual testing as the team grows. After establishing the team, it will flip into a 50/50 split between manual and automation testing.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Manual Tester
  • QA experience in a start-up environment, preferably as a sole tester.
  • Proficient in QA methodology and process, preferably Agile testing experience.
  • Ability to convert complex business, technical requirements and use cases to test cases and test plans
  • Experience with JIRA, Postman, and APIs
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other teams to deliver optimal results
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
