This is a permanent full-time position, requiring your presence in a Mississauga office 5 days a week. Our client places a significant emphasis on fostering a positive and collaborative culture, making your personality and ability to thrive in a startup environment essential.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js

  • Proficiency in Express.js, MySQL, and GraphQL

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality backend software applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to analyze requirements, define project scope, and deliver optimal solutions.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

  • Participate in architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
