Principal Ruby on Rails Developer

A well established Toronto company in the financial technology space is looking to add a Principal Ruby on Rails developer to their team. In this role you’ll be the key player for this company’s continued product growth and key decision maker for future technical direction. The right person for this role needs to have at least 8 years of professional development experience as well as some experience at either a staff or principal level. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development experience
• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (preferably React)
• Experience architecting and designing large scale software solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of experience as a staff or principal developer

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

• 80% Ruby on Rails
• 20% JavaScript
