Linux Systems Engineer

A non-profit located in Tucson, Arizona is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to add to their growing team. This individual will be focused on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems such as Ubuntu and Debian Linux, Windows, MySQL, Apache, Nutanix, and Python. They will also support Cisco network technologies such as Firewalls, Switches and Routers. One of the immediate initiatives will involve designing and implementing a disaster recovery plan.

Contract Duration: 12 months Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with server administration in mixed Linux/Windows environment
• Experience supporting MySQL databases
• Strong experience with Ubuntu or Debian Linux OS’s
• Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery plans
• Knowledge of Cisco network devices such as Firewalls, Switches and Routers
• Ability to collaborate with a team and communicate effectively
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in IT, CIS or a related field
