Position Overview: As the Director of Data Warehousing and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data analytics within our client's organization. Collaborating closely with the Senior Vice President, you will lead a team of 15 to 20 talented professionals based in Boston. Your expertise in both traditional SQL/SSIS and cutting-edge analytics from the recently acquired D Cubed Analytics startup will drive the successful migration and consolidation of the data stack, providing a unified and streamlined experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers and analysts, fostering a collaborative environment where the best of both legacy and modern analytics approaches can thrive.

Data Integration: Design and oversee the integration of legacy SQL/SSIS systems with advanced analytics technologies from the D Cubed Analytics acquisition, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient migration.

Strategic Vision: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to define the strategic roadmap for data warehousing and analytics, leveraging your deep knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.

Client-Centric Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their unique data requirements, and translate those needs into innovative, value-driven analytics solutions.

Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of data processes, employing your technical prowess to troubleshoot and optimize as necessary.

Change Management: Guide the team through the transformation process, fostering a culture of adaptability and ensuring smooth transitions for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record of technical leadership in data warehousing and analytics, including hands-on experience with legacy SQL/SSIS and modern analytics technologies.
- Strong familiarity with the life sciences industry and its unique data challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in successfully leading data migration and consolidation projects is a plus.
- Adept at managing and inspiring a diverse team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
