Job Description We are partnered with a leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials to businesses throughout North America. They are looking to grow their IT team and bring on an End User Computing Architect on a full time direct hire basis. 

In this position you will be responsible for creating and maintaining systems architecture and technology design of the End User Computing environment.

This is a full time direct hire opportunity with 5 day per week onsite responsibilities in their Waukegan OR Pleasant Prairie office, depending on which office you live closest to. Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of technical experience in End User Computing technologies.
  • Extensive experience with cloud-based collaboration technologies, including Microsoft O365 application suite.
  • Deep knowledge of endpoint security, including multi-factor authentication implementation and support.
  • Ability to research emerging technologies in the end-user computing space and provide technical solutions to meet business goals.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to technical and business teams.
  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture processes, including creating technology roadmaps, strategies, and standards for computing technologies.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • May require travel to branch and international locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects in a matrix and global organization.
