ServiceNow Discovery Engineer

This investment management group is really into tech these days! They're not just your average mutual fund company anymore. They're on the lookout for a ServiceNow Discovery Engineer to join their team and help map out their network, infrastructure, and application components.

You'll be working closely with other business and technical service owners to make sure everything runs smoothly, and all the critical business services are delivered without a hitch. If you're passionate about technology and ready to collaborate with both the business and technical teams, this could be the job for you! Your main job will be to configure the Discovery tool to gather all the data needed for the business, so they can improve their operations, keep everything up and running, and provide the best customer experience possible. This is a full-time role offering amazing perks and benefits. 3 days on-site in their Wayne, PA office is required. Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of technical experience
• Experience with ServiceNow Cloud Discovery AWS/Azure
• Strong experience with JavaScript, BitBucket, Bamboo, Kubernetes, Python and YAML preferred
• Ability to design and implement integrations using ServiceNow IntegrationHub and custom integration using REST API etc. to enrich CMDB
• Ability to perform ServiceNow platform development
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery preferred

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing and managing ServiceNow Service Discovery solutions for On-Premises and Cloud resources, from planning to deployment.
• Overseeing the Service Discovery infrastructure, which includes managing schedules, credentials, mid-servers, and patterns.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to Discovery processes.
• Developing and deploying new Discovery functionality.
• Ensuring that Discovery is functioning as expected and meets its requirements, including schedule scope, completion, and CMDB data population.
• Defining, creating, and monitoring Discovery health reports and dashboards to ensure optimal performance.
• Resolving Discovery issues promptly and efficiently, investigating and identifying root causes.
• Ensuring that Service Mapping satisfies both the current and future scope requirements.
