Software Engineer/ Python/ Microservices/ Service Oriented Architecture

This young and agile company located in Pennsylvania is the legacy annuity business of one of the country’s top financial companies. They are now a smaller, private company dedicated and experienced in growing successful insurance businesses. There are looking to bring on a Software Engineer for their Data Management team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a fully remote role, with a 12-month contracting period before conversion, and candidates will be expected to work on EST.

This is a mid-senior level position (3+ years of experience in a production environment) and sits on the data management team working with python, distributed systems, microservice architecture, and helping with backend service and integration tasks. They work entirely within an AWS infrastructure.

This position cannot provide sponsorship now or in the future, nor is it eligible for C2C or C2C based contractors.

Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience

• Python

• Heavy database/data store experience- SQL, NoSQL
• Experience in distributed information systems- running things on multiple servers
