Technical Support Specialist – Tier II/III - Whiteland IN

Motion Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join one of our main clients who is a best in-class IT solutions and services company. Right now, they are looking to fill the position to work on projects for one of their main clients in the biomanufacturing industry. This candidate would play a key role in demonstrating strong technical knowledge and customer service by responding to and resolving customer tickets. The ideal candidate that we are looking for would have several years of technical support experience working with customers and is skilled in tiers 2-3 support.

**This would be a 12-month Contract position (possible extension) onsite in Whiteland, IN**

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support (Tiers 2-3) involving computer hardware and software
• Demonstrated proficiency with operating systems, business applications, and computer hardware platforms.
• CompTIA A+ certification required, any other certifications are a plus
• Ability to detect, diagnose, and resolve desktop and portable computer software and hardware failures.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Azure AD and SSO
• Knowledge in firewalls and networking (Switches/Routers)

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolves customer tickets that include questions, requests for services and technical troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve technical issues. Be willing to investigate, learn, and ask questions
• Provides on-site support to end-users on a variety of issues.
• Work as part of a team of skilled professionals that together deliver an excellent customer experience
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows OS/Server environments and printers
• Use ticketing software and IT Support tools
