Job Description
Create a better future for yourself with this new Manager Security Engineer full-time position based out of Wilmington, DE. This company is a government entity. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days a week on-site in Delaware. Being within the state comes with a ton of perks, such as work/life balance, benefits, and a pension. The manager will ensure that cloud, network, middleware, endpoint, and other security services are effectively deployed, maintained, and maintained to mitigate threats against the state. Joining the cyber security team means collaborating with experts from various departments and agencies. You'll work alongside talented professionals in law enforcement, IT, and government, fostering a strong network and knowledge-sharing culture. They're looking for someone to build a Network Security Design Team that will need to be an SME in Cisco and FortiGate products, as well as very strong in F5 load balancing. Required Skills & Experience

- Certification in Network Security Tools, Application Security Tools, EDR, or Cloud Security Systems and Tools
- Minimum of 4 years’ technical engineering experience in NST, SPT, EDT or CSST
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT environment and 24/7 support requirements
- Trained in organizational analysis
- BA in IT discipline
