Our client is hiring a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join their Shared Services team. The Senior Data Governance Analyst in the telecommunications tower industry is a crucial role within the organization, responsible for ensuring the effective management and governance of data assets across the company. As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, quality, and security of data related to telecommunications towers.
Responsibilities:

Data Governance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with the company's objectives and industry best practices. This includes defining data governance policies, standards, and procedures specific to telecommunications tower data.

Data Quality Management: Define data quality requirements and establish data quality metrics and controls for telecommunications tower data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve data quality across various systems and processes.

Data Stewardship: Identify data stewards and facilitate their engagement in data governance initiatives related to telecommunications tower data. Work closely with data owners to define data governance roles and responsibilities, ensuring accountability for data accuracy and compliance.

Data Classification and Standards: Establish data classification frameworks and standards for telecommunications tower data to ensure consistent and appropriate handling throughout its lifecycle. Develop data classification guidelines and facilitate their adoption across the organization.

Data Privacy and Security: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy and security requirements are met for telecommunications tower data. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, preferably within the telecommunications or tower industry.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices, with a focus on telecommunications tower data.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for data governance in the telecommunications tower industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data profiling techniques, specifically applied to telecommunications tower data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the telecommunications tower industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies specific to the telecommunications tower industry is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are advantageous.
