Linux Engineer / Woonsocket, RI

We are partnered a Fortune 100 Healthcare company that is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their growing Systems and Operations division. As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux systems and applications that support their business operations.

You will design, implement, and maintaining Linux systems in a high-availability environment and collaborate with different teams to ensure availability of servers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with linux systems in a cloud environment and have strong scriptin experience for automation. This role requires candidate to be local to the Woonsocket, Rhode Island area. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering in a large-scale environment
• Experience with Azure, Ubuntu servers, and Bash or PowerShell scripting
• Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts
• Proficient in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
