Network Engineer

A company in fintech industry is looking for a Network Engineer. While this is primarily remote, the candidate will be troubleshooting and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure that is hosted in one of their datacenters local to the Phoenix Valley, so some occasional travel to the datacenter will be needed for break/fix and network refreshes. The candidate will ensure network stability and reliability, monitor networks, and perform heavy network troubleshooting.

Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of relevant Network Engineering experience
• Senior level experience in switching and routing, preferably with Cisco or Juniper products
• Experience working with networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and vendor networking operating systems i.e. NX-OS, IOS-XE, and JUNOS.
• Firewall experience – in-depth knowledge and configurations of Palo Alto firewalls
• L2/L3 Connectivity
• Knowledge of routing protocols – OSPF, BGP, BFD, FHRP
• Overlay Technologies – BGP EVPN and SD-WAN
• Firewall Technologies - ACL and NAT

Desired Skills & Experience

• Any cloud networking experience would be a plus
