Cloud System Engineer

We are partnered with an energy and recycling company. They specialize in turning by-products and food waste into sustainable products. They are the largest publicly traded organization in this industry - they have over 250 facilities across the world.

They are looking for a Cloud System Engineer will join the Data Center team and help to shape the Azure and OCI, IaaS and PaaS future of the organization on a global scale. They are ideally looking for cloud engineers having enterprise level experience with cloud-based technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, experience with designing highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure using proven frameworks and tools. In addition to managing and maintaining Azure, OCI and VMware platforms, install and maintain Server OS (Linux, Windows) and configurations using automated installation and Configuration Management tools, provide infrastructure for Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases, patch, and software deployments with SCCM, and automation experience with PowerShell, Bash and Ansible.

This will be a full-time direct hire opportunity in the Irving, TX (Las Colinas area). With a 2 day in office hybrid schedule. Required Skills & Experience

• Managing & supporting Linux (preferable RHEL 6+ and Oracle Linux 6+)
• Managing and supporting Windows 2008 up to 2019.
• Managing and supporting a multi data center VMware virtualized environment with Microsoft Azure, AWS, OCI, Colocation Data Centers or equivalent cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
• Experience in scripting and automation: SCCM, Bash, Ansible and PowerShell
