NYC only // Lead Cloud Security Engineer // Must have software development background

This position is located in NYC (Manhattan), we're looking for someone who can come in once a week on average, though we're flexible about that if you need a week off occasionally. 

Job Description
A SaaS startup in Manhattan is looking for their first cloud security engineer to prevent security vulnerabilities in their development environment. They're looking for someone with a software development background who has experience building and security CI/CD pipelines with static and dynamic scanning tooling. This is not a development role, but we're looking for someone who is comfortable working with developers, and who can automate as much of the environment as possible with high level scripting. The environment is AWS, and we use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Serious professional experience with any major scripting language
• 4+ years in DevOps / cloud engineering work in any major cloud environment
• Experience with SAST and DAST tooling like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Burp Suite, etc
• Strong experience with Terraform
