AWS security Architect

A financial firm in the Kennett Square, PA area is looking for a cloud security architect to help mature their program. This person will be the most senior, hands on individual on the team and report directly to the director of cloud security. For the beginning phases of their program, this will be the sole person road-mapping and maturing the program. The idea is to have an extremely solid foundation with clear direction and eventually build a team from within. This will be a full time engagement operation off of a hybrid model with Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday in office.
This firm has just recently migrated to AWS and are in the true infancy stages. While they don’t need someone to do the migration anymore, it would probably help to have someone who has recently done a migration so the protocol is fresh in their minds. This position will involve a lot of strategy and road mapping. While there still will be some hands on aspects like policy and control implementation and eventually creating cloud formation templates to address vulnerabilities, coming in the door, it will be heavily focused on planning, which you will have a major say in a new program. - At least 5-7 years experience in cyber security
- Core background/fundamental understanding of infrastructure
- Experience within cloud technologies (AWS preferred, Azure is fine)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous AWS cloud security experience
- Relevant security certifications
- 75% AWS cloud security
- 25% on prem security
