Devops Engineering Manager

This is a leading technology company dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency in the logistics and simulation industry.

They are currently seeking a dynamic DevOps Manager to spearhead their DevOps initiatives. As a key leader within our organization, you will be responsible for championing DevOps adoption company-wide, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, or infrastructure development and administration.
  • Proven ability to define and execute a vision and strategy for DevOps, managing a team of skilled DevOps engineers.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Blue-Green deployments, Software Defined Infrastructure, and AWS, GCP or Azure tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization, release, and configuration management automation tools.
  • Proficiency in deploying and supporting applications with microservices-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and GCP
  • Extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) with Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with code repository management, code merge, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Drive and coordinate enterprise technology projects and operational releases for all technical teams supporting multiple applications.
  • Lead the DevOps team in innovation efforts and experimentation with new solutions.
  • Provide oversight for the design and development of DevOps solutions and tools.
  • Mentor and develop a highly skilled team of DevOps engineers.
  • Plan, design, coordinate, and manage DevOps Automation related activities.
  • Foster a culture of continual service improvement and develop structured processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other IT leaders to ensure cost-effective DevOps solutions are in place.
  • Coordinate and organize work to implement DevOps technologies and meet team objectives.
